SELF ESTEEM LAUNCHES ITS FIRST AD CAMPAIGN
Inspire to be. reflects the SELF ESTEEM vision.
Los Angeles, CA -- All Access Apparel, Inc., manufacturer of the SELF ESTEEM junior apparel brand, has announced the launch of its first ad campaign, to break for fall Back-to-School 2003.
The new print ad campaign, titled Inspire to be., targets teens, and strives to empower self-expression among them. Each ad produced will feature a different SELF ESTEEM girl; a model who is approachable, non-intimidating, and represents individuality and freedom. Capturing the brand identity of SELF ESTEEMs butterfly icon, the ad will portray each girl as the body of a butterfly with illustrated butterfly wings behind her. Different artists will illustrate each set of wings to achieve variety, personality, and style expression, thus representing SELF ESTEEMs customers and the individuality SELF ESTEEM strives to inspire.
SELF ESTEEMs inspirational ad campaign will launch in August 2003 consumer fashion magazines including YM, Teen People, Elle Girl, Twist and J-14. The ad will also run in WWD in October. In addition, the Inspire to be. campaign will be placed in mall kiosks throughout the country.

For the first series of ads, two models were chosen for their representation of todays girl. Each one exudes self-confidence, individual style and diversity. Highly recognized fashion photographer, Stan Musilek, with offices in Paris and San Francisco shot the images. New York artist Celia Calle and Toronto artist Marcos Chin illustrated the butterfly images.
